·         Opening information: Opening times 10:00am – 5.00pm. Last entry will be at 4:00pm

You'll be joined by a fantastic team dedicated to making your experience memorable. The train is fully accessible and to ensure a quality experience and time to enjoy the displays, visits are structured in 15-minute intervals. 

 

Essential information - Before your visit

Time:
Please arrive at the station no earlier than 10 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket.

Ticket Checks:
Please bring your ticket with you, either as a printed copy or as the email confirmation on your phone.

Travel info:

By bike: Cycle storage can be found in the station: by the lift at Platform 2 (37 spaces) Platform 3 (68 Spaces) and adjacent to Platform 19 (86 Spaces). Additional cycle spaces are available in New Street car park (32 spaces).

By bus: Airport buses and city tours leave from Waverley Bridge regularly through the day. Local buses leave from Princes Street and North Bridge. Buses for the rest of Scotland leave from St Andrew’s Square or Waterloo Place.

By National Rail: Edinburgh Waveley is on the East Coast Mainline.

By tram: Trams connect the city centre with Edinburgh Airport. The nearest stop is on St Andrews Square. More information can be found at EdinburghTrams.com.
